North Allegheny traveled to Monroeville to take on the Gateway Gators on Friday night in a non-conference clash. After a close, come-from-behind victory a week ago, the Tigers left no doubt of the result in this one as they rolled to a 41-0 win.

NA had the ball first and drove 66 yards, highlighted by a Luke Rohan 40-yard reception from Brady Brinkley to get into the red zone.

Rohan finished the drive with a two-yard run, and the Tigers led 7-0.

After the defense forced the Gators to punt, North Allegheny drove right back down the field, this time 90 yards, and scored on another Rohan two-yard run to make it 14-0.

The NA defense forced their first turnover of the game when Declan Flaherty intercepted a tipped pass, but the North Allegheny offense could not take advantage.

The Tigers’ defense played takeaway again on the first play of the second quarter. Mason Brown forced and recovered a fumble to give the NA offense prime field position. North Allegheny cashed in on a Brinkley one-yard quarterback sneak to extend the Tigers’ lead to 20-0.

Both teams traded punts and turnovers until the Tigers got the ball with 1:48 left in the half and drove 39 yards, scoring again when Brinkley found Rohan from 15 yards out. Gavin Ust completed a two-point conversion pass to Brown and the score was 28-0 at the half.

After Gateway went three-and-out to start the second half, Brinkley threw a 23-yard touchdown pass to Korry Pitts to make the score 34-0.

The Tigers found the end zone one more time in the fourth quarter when Anthony Sisinni scored from three yards out, and the game ended 41-0.

Rohan was named the Wright Automotive Player of the Game, going for 112 total yards and scoring three total touchdowns.

Brinkley finished 9-for-13 with 159 yards, two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown. Brinkley also had 56 rushing yards. Brown had three catches for 47 yards. Sisinni finished with nine carries for 77 yards and a touchdown.
